Speaker Bio

This quarter at Mentor Moms, we look forward to welcome speaker Maureen Diaz, sharing an in-depth perspective on healthy living with a focus on Ancestral Diets. Maureen Diaz, wife and mother of 9 amazing people, spent years of homesteading and raising her family’s food while studying and practicing regenerative farming, nutrition, and non-toxic healing modalities. In 2001, this led her to the work of the late Dr. Weston A. Price and the foundation bearing his name, for which she has both volunteered and worked for a number of years. Since that time she continues to learn, and shares wither others what she finds to be true and effective. In 2021, Maureen co-founded God’s Good Table alongside her daughter, Erin. Their goal as always remains this: to help others in the building and recovery of good health for individuals and families, while educating others in simple, regenerative practices for small-scale growing of foods, the preservation and preparation of these foods, and using food as medicine.
A Virginia mountaintop is now home to the Diaz family, where together they enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking, and welcoming people from near and far to their table. Guests will learn how to prepare a nourishing bone brother with recipes using this foundation for optimal health.
Cost
$5 cash registration fee per person will be collected at the event.
“To be able to share the information I wish I had when I was a brand new mom so that you can avoid the mistakes that I made, to have community of wise mentors to nurture those raising the next generation … that is what Mentor Moms is all about.”
